This course is for students diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP). In the lessons they will be engaged in various physical activities suited to their individual abilities. For people with CP physical exercises have proved to be a beneficial addition to treatment and rehabilitation. They contribute to the development of personality as a whole, but their most significant effect is on the movement abilities and motor skills. The main focus of the lessons are psychomotor exercises and various sport activities modified to fit the capabilities of students with CP. The main point of these activities is to improve the students' motor skills and fitness as well as communication skills, ability to focus, and overall health. Students are given individual attention from the instructors, who teach them proper body alignment and muscle imbalance exercises. Students also learn loosening and relaxation exercises. The instructors provide unusual equipment and employ innovative approaches in physical education.

The course focuses on the following issues:

  1. Examination of musculoskeletal system
  2. Motion analysis and learning compensation exercises for muscle imbalance
  3. Motor skill games and unusual physical activities
  4. Psychomotor exercises
  5. Basic techniques from various sport disciplines modified for CP students
  6. Physical therapy exercises
