The role of the national coordinator of the Czech participation in the ICC was taken by the Teiresiás Center for the first time. The camp was set in a marvelous historic city of Škofja Loka, a place of residence of Slovenian bishops not far from the capital city Ljubljana. The atmosphere of the camp was unique in many ways, because it was the first time it took place outside of the European Union, in the Slovenian national Rehabilitation Center for the Blind. The conditions were similar to the residence halls of Czech boarding schools (those of a higher standard). Masaryk University has arranged a van to transport both Czech and Slovak students to Slovenia. Among the tutors was also the head of the center Dr. Petr Peňáz. The Czech groups were quite large and a majority of them were students with visual impairment, which was quite demanding in terms of organization. Content-wise this year's event was characterized by a large number of computer seminars (two a day) and by the challenges involved in the organization of the Czech seminar (Ing. Fránek stepped up to the task of designing the technical seminars). During the leisure time we formed great friendships with our colleagues from Bratislava; visiting the medieval town center, the orienteering race, tandem bikes trip and especially the rafting made the experience even more enjoyable.
