TEIRESIÁS:
Vienna (Austria, 2009)
The 15th year of the ICC was hosted by the Federal Institute for the Blind in Vienna, Austria. The facility provided accommodation, meals and almost the entire program took place there as well. In cooperation with the ICC technical team, the institute prepared a sufficient number of powerful computers with special equipment for the visually impaired. During the five days the participants attended IT and communication oriented workshops and took part in leisure time activities in the evenings, which were centered around Vienna's historical and cultural landmarks and attractions. The free day started with a boat cruise on the Danube River, followed by visits of some of the many exhibitions offered in Vienna museums. In the evening all the participants met in a traditional wine restaurant, tasted the local specialties and chatted about their experience from the past days.
