How to reach us

Using public transport

• Tram no. 4: From Brno main train station (Hlavní nádraží stop), take tram no. 4 and get off at Komenského náměstí (the fourth stop in the direction of Náměstí Míru: Zelný trh – Náměstí Svobody – Česká – Komenského náměstí). After getting off, walk back in the opposite direction of the tram’s movement to the corner. Turn right, cross Joštova Street at the pedestrian crossing - there is an audible signal button. After 30 meters, you will reach the corner of the Masaryk University building. Walk another 30 meters, and the entrance to the building will be on your right. The reception desk is immediately on the right behind the door, and the Teiresias Centre is located on the left and rear part of the elevated ground floor.
• Tram no. 12: If coming from Technologický park, take tram no. 12 and get off at the Česká stop. Continue walking in the direction of the tram’s movement, then turn right onto Joštova Street, passing by the Constitutional Court building. Walk straight ahead, crossing two pedestrian crossings  - both are equipped with audible beaconing. Between them, on your right, you will pass the “Red” Church of J. A. Komenský. Then, cross the tracks to the left via another pedestrian crossing with audible beaconing. After 30 meters, you will reach the corner of the Masaryk University building. Walk another 30 meters, and the entrance to the building will be on your right. The reception desk is immediately on the right behind the door, and the Teiresias Centre is located on the left and rear part of the elevated ground floor.
• Trams no. 3, 5, 6, 10: If getting off at the Česká stop (the stop on Joštova Street in the direction of Moravské náměstí), walk right (back in the opposite direction of the tram’s movement) for about 250 meters. You'll reach the pedestrian crossing with an audible signal button across Komenského náměstí. Along the way, you will pass Česká and Opletalova Streets on your left. After crossing, continue straight ahead for about 30 meters to the corner of the Masaryk University building. Turn left, walk another 30 meters, and the entrance to the building will be on your right. The reception desk is immediately on the right behind the door, and the Teiresias Centre is located on the left and rear part of the elevated ground floor.

Using your own car

• Please note that parking around the building is very limited, especially during daytime hours. You may use regular parking spaces in the designated blue zones or the nearby Domini Park parking garage at Husova Street 712/14a.

Reserved parking spaces for vehicles transporting individuals with mobility impairment

Due to the ongoing reconstruction of the adjacent streets, the reserved parking spaces at the rear courtyard of the building at Komenského náměstí have been temporarily moved to the area between the Faculty of Social Studies and the Red Church. Two parking spaces are available there, each with a standard width of 3.5 meters. Exact location: 49.1974950N, 16.6027622E.

Getting around the building

The Teiresias Centre is located on the ground floor, occupying the west and south wings of the building. If coming from the main entrance, turn left or cross the courtyard (see the plan below).

There is a barrier-free entrance from Komenského náměstí, from Údolní Street, or from the car park behind the building. For access to the car park see section Reserved parking spaces for vehicles transporting individuals with mobility impairment.
